Each October for the past 32 years, the city of Chesapeake joins together to host an amazing festival-benefit. The Chesapeake Sheriff’s Department and the South Norfolk Ruritans join forces with over 40 local restaurants to create an afternoon made for fun. For the first time, YNot Pizza was a proud sponsor and co-host this year!
We had a great time with the thousands of people who love food and the city of Chesapeake just as much as we do! The proceeds from the ticket sales went to benefit the South Norfolk Rotary Club’s fundraising efforts & charities associated with the Chesapeake Sheriff’s Department. Tickets were well priced and afforded the guests access to unlimited food, beverages, and dancing! Tailgate Down, a well-known local rockin’ country band, provided the tunes and made sure that everyone’s feet were moving.
As if all that wasn’t enough, the night was topped off by a generous helping of fireworks, thanks to a local law firm. If you didn’t get to participate in this mid-week afternoon of fun, be sure to mark it on your calendar for next year – the first Wednesday of October! Bring a healthy appetite, because YNot Pizza will definitely be sponsoring this party again.
